We’ve had another busy week this week reading some more of our story ‘Traction Man’ in English and we have also read ‘There’s a snake in my school’ during story time. The children will be looking at eight specific words from this story next week, thinking about what they mean and we will use them throughout the week too to extend the children’s vocabulary. I will send the words out on Marvellous Me so that you can perhaps talk about them at home too. In maths we have been continuing partitioning numbers using the part, part whole model and into tens and ones. We have also been learning about animals and their offspring in science and using our voices to make a variety of sounds.
