SMSC
What is SMSC?
SMSC stands for spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. All schools in England must show how well their pupils develop in SMSC.
The Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development of our students has always been at the heart of the education offered at Wheldon Infant School and Nursery. Our approach to SMSC is embedded in the ethos of mutual respect, partnership working and collaboration; an approach that we believe is fundamental to a full and positive participation in life in modern Britain. Our termly values and Restorative Practice approach, coupled with our bespoke PSHE curriculum, is evident across the curriculum and in the way our children and staff speak to each other and through their behaviour and actions.
Spiritual

Moral
